#94 - Growed Up Fun

Sharing the fun of  raising chickens and getting to find daily laid eggs in the chicken coop is awesome when you have a four year old to do it with.

Well, this little one is now officially five years old. A bonafide "Big Girl." That's what Kindergarten does to the kids...makes them think they are all growed up.

In a couple of weeks, Shaye gets to come over for the weekend and we are thrilled. Uncle David will be taking her fishing with the birthday present he bought for her...a Barbie fishing pole.

But, I love being at home with Shaye and getting to do simple things, such as cook the eggs we just found outside.

Okay Shaye...let's get down to the serious business of cooking.

I can tell that you are so happy that you can barely hold it all in.

Is someone beaming with happiness?

Well, maybe someone is, but can you give me a clue to who it might be?

Is it me? Am I the happy one overflowing with smiles and giggles?

Yea...it's me. I'm just kidding. I knew it was me all along.

And I think it's time to go outside and check for more eggs!

Yep, I think five year Shaye is going to be a lot of fun as well. Even if she IS all growed up now.

Now I want some eggs.

Haha. Reminds me of our daughter-in-law, who will probably be a teenager before we have our first egg.

My dad used to take me fishing when I was Shaye's age. Fond memories. :)

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Oh, what a cute post. Shaye is a very pretty little girl, excuse me, Young Lady--now that she's all grown up!
